Outside of disputes, the firm acts as general counsel to closely held companies and their owners: formation and governance, commercial agreements, ownership arrangements, and the sale or purchase of a business. Much of the work is ordinary by design. The same judgment that resolves a dispute is considerably cheaper applied before one exists.
